Tai
Chi Dallas,
a part of Wujido Martial Arts, offers a comprehensive
study of Tai Chi Chuan as a martial art. Our program includes
the study
of three Tai Chi routines from the first easy to learn form, to the
original Yang Tai Chi Long Boxing Set of 108 movements,
as well as Tai Chi sword forms. Incuded also
are internal exercises such as Meditation, Chi Gong, Daoyin Yoga,
beginning to advanced application, Tui Shou and individual
instruction.
|
There
is no belt ranking system for Tai Chi, so student seniority depends
only on the number of training hours. Students having 200 to 800 training
hours, and passing certain tests given by the Headmaster, are assistant
instructors.
Current
Assistant Instructors for Tai Chi at Wujido Martial Arts are:
S.
Boukadoum,
J. Smith,
M. Patel,
B. Mabli,
L. Utrecht,
D. Burns.
All members
and participants must observe our martial arts etiquette when on campus
and on the training floor. Members should learn the Seven Requirements.
A copy of both the etiquette
and the 7 requirements
is provided elsewhere on this website.
